How Would You Protect S/Metal From RUST - 2008/06/06 13:47 Hi Guys

I'm restoring my '66 Ford Mustang Convert. 4 the first time. I'm new at all this sheet metal.

I do have a background in welding though.

Working with sheet metal is new to me and a very challeging discipline I must say.

My questions please.

1. How would I provent RUST from gaining the upper hand on me inside my engine bay. Of which I brought down to the bare metal.
I'm going to paint the engine bay.

But 4 now the metal is un-protected.

What do you guys suggest that I do before I spray paint the engine bay?

Thank You All

GOD BLESS

Schooner
