Using these forums - 2006/03/11 04:15
These forums offer much more functionality than our previous discussion groups. For a start, you can now format your posts using the toolbar. You can also add 'emoticons', and subscribe to messages - you will then be notified by email when somebody responds.
Use the registration option on the left (underneath the Username and Password fields) to create an account. Once created you will receive an email with a link to validate the account. After this process is completed you are free to post messages.
The same username/password will also allow you to post messages in the free classified adverts section.
And lastly, we've gone for RSS in a big way! In addition to Sheetmetalworld.com news being available as an RSS feed that you can pull straight down to your desktop, you can also do the same with the newsgroups.
